具体得看你年龄多大，不过有一点就是要努力考海军的军校，然后在部队好好成长进步。

1.成为海军舰长，那么首先是要成为一名海军军官。海军的舰也是分等级的，一般是团级，大的像航母这样的是正师级。如果想当上舰长，那么你得慢慢地从海军舰艇上的军官干起，逐步地去成长。

2.那么如果你还没有参加高考，那么目前你最需要做的事情是好好学习，然后注意锻炼身体，还有视力要爱护好，然后高考的时候争取报海军大连舰艇学院或者海军工程大学这样的院校。如果你已经上了大学，那么可以大学生士兵入伍到部队，不过这个时候军种就由武装部分配了，不是你自己能够选择了，然后在部队里面考军校，但是如果你到了其他军种比如陆军、空军，基本上也是没法上海军院校的。

3.另外即便你真的上了海军军校，那么毕业之后你还要在舰艇上好好地磨炼，因为海军是对技术性要求比较高的军种，你要适应舰艇上的各个岗位，要能够真正地具备指挥管理的能力，这样你才真正有机会地独当一面，因为当舰长，就是把一个舰上的人都交给了你，在海上漂泊并且执行任务，你得能够付得起这个责任，担得了这个使命！
