第二，对孩子，这是最大的不同点，父母对待孩子真的非常有耐心，而且非常平等，真的是像朋友一样。

他们永远是尊重孩子的选择，而中国的家长是“我说的你就照做，小孩子懂什么”另外，最大的不同是他们爱自己的伴侣是肯定超出对孩子的爱的（中国相反，父母爱孩子胜于爱伴侣，而且大部分父母对孩子的控制欲望非常强烈）。

第三，国外的老人，由于社会保险比较好他们都是独自居住，孩子时不时拜访一下，一起做做饭。而没有孩子的老人被政府照顾的非常好，住在干净漂亮的公寓，满阳台都是花草（说的当然是相对富于的国家），但是他们思想上非常独立，不愿意依靠别人。

第四，在国外，亲人之间都直呼名称，大家聊天的时候天南地北，男人女人，爱，性，什么都聊，在场的16、17岁的孩子也都很开心地各抒己见，更加温馨的朋友聚会。
